Tiny House – A Compact Haven of Design and Functionality

This 400-square-foot project explores the intersection of modern aesthetics, sustainability, and efficient use of space. The Tiny House exemplifies thoughtful architectural solutions for compact living without compromising comfort or style.

The structure employs a 6x6 timber frame with stone infill, blending natural materials with durability. Exposed interior roof planking and acid-stained concrete floors create a seamless dialogue between rustic charm and contemporary minimalism. Spaces are carefully arranged to maximize functionality within a limited footprint, offering distinct areas for living, sleeping, working, and entertaining.

A focus on sustainable practices informed the material choices, including structural insulated panels (SIPs) for energy efficiency and low-maintenance finishes like ceramic tile and sealed concrete. Lighting design emphasizes versatility and ambiance, with dimmable LED fixtures, under-cabinet lighting, and strategically placed windows to enhance natural daylighting.

This project celebrates the elegance of simplicity while meeting the demands of modern living. It stands as an invitation to rethink how small spaces can foster both practicality and beauty.
